خلاصه
این مقاله نشان دهنده ی این است که چگونه شیوه های مدیریت کیفیت می تواند بر تولید و سودآوری در صنعت تولید زامبیا تاثیرگذار باشد. این مطالعه تلاش دارد تا شکاف تحقیقاتی را با آزمایش ارتباط بین شیوه های مدیریت کیفیت(QM)، تولید و سودآوری در صنعت تولید زامبیا با استفاده از تحلیل مولفه های اصلی، ارتباط، رگرسیون چندگانه و بررسی واسطه ای پر کند. در انجام این عمل، ارتباط بین QM، ساختارهای تولید و سودآوری ارزیابی و بیان شد. نتایج نشان می دهند که به نظر می رسد معیار، تمرکز بر مشتری، مدیریت افراد، مدیریت فرایند و رهبری اهمیت اولیه دارند و تاثیر بسزایی بر تولید دارند. معیار، مدیریت افراد و رهبری، سپس نشان دهنده ی تاثیر بسیار بر سودآوری هستند. به علاوه، یافته ها همچنین گویای این هستند که تولید، ارتباطی بین QM و سودآوری برقرار می سازد. یافته های این مطالعه یک نمایش جذاب از اهمیت شیوه های مدیریت کیفیت برای صنعت تولید در زامبیا جهت تقویت تولید و سودآوری آن و اعمال نفوذ رقابت پذیری اقتصاد زامبیا فراهم می کنند
Management quality, productivity, and profitability in Zambia
ABSTRACT
This paper investigates how quality management practices may affect productivity and profitability in Zambian manufacturing industry. The study attempted to fill the research gap by examining relationships between quality management (QM) practices, productivity and profitability in the manufacturing industry in Zambia using principal components analysis, correlation, multiple regression and mediation analyses. In doing so, relationships between QM, productivity and profitability constructs were assessed and described. The results reveal that benchmarking, customer focus, people management, process management and leadership appear to be of primary importance and exhibit significant impact on productivity. Benchmarking, people management and leadership further exhibit significant impact on profitability. In addition, the findings also suggested that productivity mediates the link between QM and profitability. Findings of the study provides a striking demonstration of the importance of quality management practices for the manufacturing industry in Zambia in enhancing its productivity and profitability and in leveraging the international competitiveness of the Zambian economy
